ITB Berlin – 2019

Every year Berlin opens its arms to welcome the players of the global travel industry; and we are right in the middle of it, enjoying every minute. More than 110000 trade visitors came to visit, roaming the halls of the fair for the first three days.

As always, we kicked off the ITB with our yearly Open House Event. Together with our colleagues from Amadeus, we invited partners, journalists and movers and shakers from the international travel sector for drinks and great food. It was also the perfect opportunity for our new fearless leader Alex, to introduce himself to our partners and get to know everybody better. As you can see, we all had a lot of fun, we networked, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the ITB.

Sandro, our Global Sales Director, had the honor to share the stage with Dr. Aris Ikkos from INSETE at the ITB’s eTravel Lab on Friday. They presented our study about “Using Big Data To Analyse Loyalty To Competing Destinations”. Together with INSETE we have studied 22 Mediterranean destinations, and we delivered insights on search behavior, brand strength and competitive specifics.
