I am a Software (Go) Developer. I am part of the team that is working on the new Campaign Management Tool (CMT). My tasks include building the back end services for CMT and integrate them with other services.

How does this help the travelers?

The services I build as a back-end developer, indirectly help the travelers in exploring new countries, culture and people.

I was born and brought up in southern part of Indian subcontinent. I am master graduate in Electronics Engineering with focus on software/hardware testing and data acquisition. I worked on aircraft simulation project of Airbus at Bremen before moving to Berlin.

How long have you been working at travel audience?

It has been almost 2 years. I joined TA in June of 2015.

What is your big project at travel audience?

CMT has been the biggest and most challenging projects for me at TA. Adhering to the micro service architecture for more reliability and efficiency was the biggest challenge.

Why did you choose the travel industry?

It is an exciting feeling to be part of  people’s life around the globe where we can help them create cherished memories. Also, I get to meet people from diverse cultures and make new friends which is wonderful.

Why did you choose travel audience?

My main motivation was to work in the travel industry. When I got to know more about the technology used in the company to build products, my decision was clear.

Why did you choose Berlin?

I realised how cool and happening Berlin was when I visited for the first time in 2013. What interested me the most, was the multicultural essence of Berlin. After I moved to Berlin, I realised I couldn’t have made a better decision. It makes me feel like home away from home.

What is your favourite travel destination?

I loved many cites that I visited in Europe and Asia. If I had to pick one, I would say San Sebastián, Spain. I was there for a while during the summer of 2014. The beaches, wine and Tapas were simply awesome.

What is your travel tip?

Try to visit small towns rather than central touristy places. It helps to learn more about the people and culture of a country.

What is the best thing about your job?

I get to work with latest technology/software, building something that is meaningful in a team of enthusiastic people.

What is your hidden talent?

I have quite good knowledge of drone photography and 3D-printing. I build 3D printers and work with drones in my free time.
